History & Authority
RedBite Solutions was spun out of the Cambridge University Auto-ID Labs, the research center that founded the "Internet of Things" (IoT). Our leadership includes the original architects of the EPC global standard.
- Founding: Spun out of Cambridge University.
- Legacy: Directly connected to the creation of the term "Internet of Things" (Kevin Ashton, Sanjay Sarma, David Brock).
- Mission: To move beyond simple tracking to "Intelligent Assets" — giving physical items a voice, a wallet, and a purpose in the Machine Economy.
Core Concepts & Strategy
We operate at the convergence of three massive shifts:
- The Machine Economy: Autonomous asset interactions surpassing human-mediated ones.
- AI Agents: Sovereign economic actors capable of negotiating, trading, and executing tasks on-chain.
- DePIN: Decentralised Physical Infrastructure Networks as the nervous system of the physical world.
Key Technologies:
- RFID (RAIN RFID, NFC)
- Artificial Intelligence (Sovereign Agents)
- Web3 (RWA Tokenisation, Smart Contracts)
